Presented by

Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter

The last couple of years have seen an explosion in social networking sites. Today, LinkedIn has more than 61 million users,

Facebook over 400 million, and Twitter amassed over 21 million unique visitors in February of 2010. But how do you use

these sites for your business? If you’re not sure how to use them or how they could work for you, this workshop is for you.

Our workshop format is a little different. You can get involved in any or all of these three parts.

•Personal Setup: 4.45pm – 6.00pm
We will set up your laptop with an account on the platform we are covering that day and provide basic customization (other

platforms by arrangement)

• Interactive session: 6.00pm – 7.00pm
We dig into the platform to reveal the leading features and how to use them, as well as answering your questions related to

that platform

•Networking: 7.00pm – 8.00pm
The work is done, now we want to get to know you and have you meet our new friends.

This is practical stuff, and you will need to bring a computer. Come dressed comfortably and prepared to ask questions and

you will leave able use the systems and set up and running.

What are BizSoMe Workshops?

These hands-on workshops are presented in association with leading business schools and organizations to provide a

practical, in-depth, knowledge based approach to how businesses and individuals can effectively use social media to build

brands and create true engagement.

Please bring a laptop to fully participate in the practical aspects of this hands-on workshop.

Further details at Email: BizSoMe@EpicStates.com

platforms.

Who should attend?

The workshops have been developed for business professionals who wish to move from experimenting with social media, into

the development and implementation of effective social media strategies.

covered.

BizSoMe Social Media Workshop

http://bizsomejuly.eventbrite.com/

4-45pm to 8.00pm

Contact: (949) 429-4072

What can you expect?

Clear, well-defined and actionable understanding of social media’s place in business. Attendees to our workshops will

leave with a completed profile on different social media networking, setup on your laptop, and insights on how to use the

platforms.

Who should attend?

The workshops have been developed for business professionals who wish to move from experimenting with social media, into

the development and implementation of effective social media strategies.

Bar210 at The Bevery Hilton

(entrance on Santa Monica)
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Price: $12 online until June 10th, $15 thereafter or at the door (if available)

Rage, rage against the onset of ‘June Gloom’ by luxuriating in the newest incarnation at the Beverly Hilton: Bar210 — the Tom Ford-designed lounge situated in the space formerly occupied by Trader Vic’s. Gone are the tiki torches and vintage surf films. In their place are modern design essentials like llavish plum, black fig and Byzantium fabrics. (Don’t ask.) Come for the collegiate fellowship, stay for the Spanish goat hair pillows.

From 7-9: $5 Beer and wine | Half off shared plates by Chef Marcel Vigneron. And enjoy the $7 Specialty cocktail — Tips-tini — all night!

LA Weekly gushes, “Armed with experience from producing hundreds of nightclub events and live performances in Sin City, DNA owners Rodney Franks and Dan D’Agostino have created Plush and Bar210 (pronounced Bar two-one-oh), the latest addition to L.A.’s saturated nightclub scene…Situated in the 7,000 square foot space originally occupied by Trader Vic’s at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Plush and Bar210 officially opened last Friday. If Vigneron has his way, “Bar210 guests will be transcended into a whole new world… leaving them feeling sexy and satisfied.”

When you register for the event, print out your confirmation screen and use that as your ticket into the event. This will ensure you can breeze through check-in and avoid any guest list or PayPal snafus.

FIBI – Investors in Real Estate and Businesses – Los Angeles
2010 FIBI Summer Networking Event – OVER 400 RSVPs And Growing!
Location
Los Angeles Meeting & Event Center
10601 W. Washington Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90232
310-280-9196

*** We have OVER 400 RSVPs for this event across the FIBI Chapters – We look forward to seeing you there! ***

Investors in Real Estate and Businesses,

To help celebrate the 2010 Summer Season and to help facilitate networking among various FIBI chapters, the For Investors By Investors (FIBI) Network is hosting a 2010 FIBI Summer Networking Party that will include all of the FIBI chapters throughout SoCal. This event will be in place of our June meeting. The Summer Networking Party will be an informal networking event with light snacks and a cash bar and is being hosted at the L.A. Meeting & Event Center in Culver City. In case you weren’t able to join us at the 2009 FIBI Holiday Party in December, it’s worth noting that we had over 130 attendees and we anticipate that we will have 150+ attendees at this event thanks to our growing FIBI Network in SoCal. This event center has a capacity of 300 people and we invite you to help us celebrate the arrival of Summer! We sincerely appreciate everyone’s support of and interest in the FIBI Network and we look forward to seeing you at the event.

This event will be held in the usual FIBI philosophy of providing informal meeting environments without any sales pitches whatsoever with the goal of helping investors to network with and learn from others. Unlike other FIBI meetings and due to the large attendees that we expect, this meeting will not include a roundtable discussion but will simply be an informal networking event to help celebrate the arrival of Summer. Please note that there will be a $15 cover charge payable at the door to help cover the costs of the event center and light snacks. We apologize that the cost is higher than our previous event (which was $10) and we want everyone to know that our goal is to cover our costs – NOT to make a profit. The increased cover charge reflects an increase in the cost of renting the event center.

LOCATION

Wednesday, June 9, 2010 – 6:30-11:00 PM
L.A. Meeting & Event Center
10601 W. Washington Blvd

FIBI NETWORK EXPANDING IN SOCAL AND NATIONWIDE

FIBI is in the process of a nationwide expansion. Our newest Meetup just launched in Ventura County, CA and several new locations will be launching in the coming months. Please feel free to visit our other Meetups throughout Southern California and throughout the US:

Our hope is that the networking effect of expanding both within Los Angeles and Nationwide will benefit all of our members.

We look forward to seeing as many of our FIBI members as possible on June 9th to help celebrate the arrival of Summer!

Have a good day,

Viral Publicity Event – Los Angele Pre-Launch
Wed, Jun 16
Viral Publicity Event – Los Angele Pre-Launch, Culver City, CA, US
Who should attend: Real Estate Professionals, Bank Lending Professionals, Insurance Agents, Financial Agents,

From the creator of the Nationally Recognized Viral Movements of PinkSlipMixers.com job search networking and OneKeyAway.com dating concepts, Edwin Duterte will be introducing his new business viral concept “The Viral Publicity”.

The idea of The Viral Publicity is to create and empower local businesses by forming active communities (both online and at live events) whereby everyone is connecting the dots and creating sales opportunities for one another.

Unlike traditional networking events where you enter and hope to connect with strangers, our Viral Publicity “Connectors” will greet you and within 10 to 15 minutes, you’ll be introduced to AND exchange contact information with at least a half a dozen local businesses. Then our Connectors will whisk you away to meet other businesses who will help you find more business resources for yourself.

The Viral Publicity is about connecting with the areas highest producing professionals. When you register to our events at the convenience of your office, you will be able to view other guests who have registered. At the event, you will have a great idea of who you want to connect with. Even more, our Connectors will be your personal wingman and introduce you to who you want to meet. The power of our events is immediately following the mixers and when The Viral Publicity machine is at full launch, our tools will make your marketing campaign stronger.

BUT WAIT THERE”S MORE….

The Viral Publicity infuses online social media to everything we do. At the event, we will have multiple social media tools that you can take advantage of. We will have a media section that we will interview the local businesses and why they are so vital to our community. We will have real-time live social media content that updates who is attending and how their business helps other businesses grow.

THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT! RSVP so you are guaranteed entry.

Over the next month, The Viral Publicity group will host “Pre-Launch” events in Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area and Las Vegas. Our concept will go viral and include many more tools such as workshops on how to turn your business into a news worthy story for local and national TV and Radio news. Our professionals are seasoned news producers, social media marketers and all around good people who make you feel good.

Our motto is “Create a strong online social media campaign to gain traditional media support that will strengthen the original marketing campaign!”

Again, RSVP to The Viral Publicity Pre-Launch Event to guarantee you get to see the new concept by the creator of viral community events like PinkSlipMixers.com.
